Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
1. Introduction
Think Lounge LLC (“Think Lounge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides childcare reservation and management services through our website at https://mythinklounge.com and our Think Lounge mobile applications on iOS and Android (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use the Services. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services. Questions? Email us at admin@mythinklounge.com.
Web vs. mobile apps. Some of our data practices differ between our website and our mobile applications. Where a practice applies only to one, we say so. In general, our mobile applications collect significantly less information than our website: the mobile apps do not use cookies, do not include analytics or advertising tracking pixels, and do not share data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
When you create an account, make a reservation, or otherwise use the Services, we collect:
- Account info: name, email address, phone number, password (stored as a one-way hash by our authentication provider), and physical address.
- Children’s info (provided by parents/guardians): the child’s name, date of birth, and an optional photograph, used to identify the child at our childcare locations.
- Payment info: payment card details collected and tokenized by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: any messages you send us through support, feedback, or email.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain information. The items below note whether each applies to our website, our mobile applications, or both.
In our mobile applications:
- Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, language and time zone settings, IP address, and crash/diagnostic logs.
- Device identifiers: mobile push notification tokens (via Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android and Apple Push Notification service on iOS), device fingerprinting data used by our payment processor for fraud prevention, and an installation identifier for over-the-air application updates.
On our website:
- Device and usage data: browser type and version, operating system, IP address, referring and exit URLs, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and basic interaction data.
- Cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics (Google Analytics), and advertising (Google Ads, Meta Pixel). See Section 6 for details and your choices.
We do not collect precise GPS or geolocation data on either the website or the mobile applications.
2.3 Information from third parties
If you choose to sign in using Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from those providers in order to create or link your account.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the Services (create your account, process reservations, send notifications about your reservations).
- Process payments through Stripe.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Send you transactional and administrative communications (e.g., reservation confirmations, account notices, terms updates).
- Where permitted by law and consistent with your preferences, send marketing communications about Think Lounge. You can unsubscribe at any time from any marketing email.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
In our mobile applications, we do not use your personal information for targeted advertising on third-party platforms, and we do not share information collected through the apps with advertising networks for cross-context behavioral advertising.
On our website, we use cookie-based analytics and advertising services (Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Pixel) to measure website performance, understand visitor behavior, and reach potential and existing customers with Think Lounge advertisements on Google and Meta platforms. You can opt out of these as described in Sections 6 and 10.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only with the following categories of recipients:
-
Service providers acting on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations:
- Amazon Web Services (Cognito) — authentication and infrastructure hosting
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notification delivery on Android
- Apple Push Notification service — push notification delivery on iOS
- Expo (EAS Update) — over-the-air mobile application updates
- SendGrid — transactional email delivery
- MailerLite — marketing email delivery
-
Advertising and analytics partners (website only) — when you visit our website, we share certain information (such as cookie identifiers, IP address, and browsing activity) with the following partners to measure website performance and to deliver Think Lounge advertisements on their platforms. This sharing does not occur in our mobile applications.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads) — website analytics and advertising
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel / Facebook Ads) — advertising and conversion measurement
- Other parents or guardians on the same family account, limited to the information they need to manage shared reservations.
- Think Lounge childcare staff at the location where you have a reservation, for the purpose of identifying and caring for your child.
- Legal and safety recipients — when required by law, court order, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Think Lounge, our users, or others.
- Successors — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
We do not sell your personal information for money. On our website, our use of Google Ads and Meta Pixel may constitute “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar U.S. state laws. See Section 10 for how to opt out. In our mobile applications, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Children’s Information
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and account holders must be at least 18 years old.
Because our Services are designed for parents and guardians to manage childcare for their minor children, parents and guardians using the Services may provide us with information about their minor children, including the child’s name, date of birth, and an optional photograph. We process this information solely at the direction of the parent or guardian and only for the purpose of providing the Services.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without their parent or guardian’s involvement, please contact us at admin@mythinklounge.com and we will promptly delete it.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
6.1 Mobile applications
Our mobile applications do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. They do not include advertising pixels, third-party advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking technologies.
iOS App Tracking Transparency. Our iOS app does not track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising purposes, so we do not display Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
6.2 Website
Our website uses the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential cookies — required for core website functionality, such as keeping you logged in and maintaining your session.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — help us understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve it.
- Advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel) — measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and allow Google and Meta to display Think Lounge advertisements to people who have visited our website.
You can control website cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you reject, delete, or be notified about cookies. Disabling advertising and analytics cookies will not affect core website functionality. You can also opt out of advertising-related sharing by emailing us as described in Section 10.
Do Not Track. Most web browsers offer a Do Not Track (“DNT”) signal. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. You can opt out of advertising cookies through your browser settings or by contacting us.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion — request that we delete your information. You can also delete your account directly in the app under Profile, or by emailing us.
- Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe via the link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent to process information, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any right, email admin@mythinklounge.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and certain other U.S. states have additional rights with respect to their personal information, including:
- The right to know what categories of personal information we collect and how we use and share it.
- The right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- The right to delete your personal information.
- The right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
10.1 Sale and Sharing — Your Right to Opt Out
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of Google Ads and Meta Pixel on our website may constitute “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states. This sharing does not occur in our mobile applications.
You have the right to opt out of this sharing. You can opt out in either of the following ways:
- Browser settings: reject or delete third-party advertising cookies through your browser’s privacy settings. This blocks the cookies Google Ads and Meta Pixel rely on to identify you across sites.
- Email request: send a message to admin@mythinklounge.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” We will process your request within the time required by applicable law.
10.2 How to Exercise Other Rights
To exercise any other right (access, correction, deletion), email admin@mythinklounge.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
